DESCRIPTION:El origen de la Feria de Ayerbe viene dado por el carácter comercial que Ayerbe tuvo antaño, como cabeza de una extensa comarca y como punto de unión de la tierra plana con la montaña, da buena prueba la celebración de dos ferias anuales, una, denominada d’os chitanos u de l’ambre, que se desarrollaba desde el 6 al 8 de mayo, y la de San Mateo, que se tenía entre los días 17 al 21 de septiembre.\nEsta última fue la que alcanzó mayores cotas de gran popularidad y fama así como una vida más prolongada dando origen a la actual Feria de Alternativas Rurales del Prepirineo.\nSe ofrecerán visitas guiadas gratuitas a Ayerbe a las 12 y 17 h que incluyen el centro de interpretación Ramón y Cajal (punto de encuentro: ayuntamiento).
